Your booking page is your best salesperson. It works at 11pm on a Sunday, never puts anyone on hold, and either fills your calendar or quietly sends people to a competitor. After looking at thousands of booking sessions, these are the details that make the difference.
Show prices and durations up front
Hidden prices are the number one reason people abandon a booking. Show the price and the duration on every service, even if it is a range.
Fewer than eight services on the first screen
Group long menus into categories. Decision fatigue is real, and a wall of 40 services makes people close the tab.
Let clients choose a person — or not
Returning clients want their stylist or therapist. New clients just want the earliest slot. Offer both: pick a specific team member, or choose Any available.
Show real availability immediately
Every extra click before someone sees a time slot costs you bookings. The best pages show available times on the same screen as the date picker.
Ask for the minimum
Name, email and phone. That is it. You can collect everything else later.
Confirm with confidence
A clear confirmation screen with the date, time, address and an add-to-calendar button reduces anxiety and no-shows.
Make it yours
Your colors, your photos, your tone of voice. A booking page that feels like your brand converts better than a generic form.
You can see all of these ideas in practice on the Lumière Hair Studio demo booking page.
